Formentera eco was established with the aim of regulating vehicle entry to the island during the peak tourist months of July and August, and setting a cap on the number of vehicles. This initiative, promoted by the Consell Insular de Formentera, thus seeks to safeguard Formentera’s environmental balance and ensure that the island remains, throughout the year, the peaceful destination that visitors and residents expect to find and enjoy.
