Índex d'Intel·ligència Turística (INTUCAT)

The data resulting from the INTUCAT project (within the Strategic Tourism Plan of Catalonia) is presented, which aims to develop a tourism intelligence indicator, oriented towards evaluating the dynamics of tourism sustainability. The System allows for identifying in which aspects destinations obtain a high rating and are shown to be competitive, as well as those in which the situation is less competitive. It also allows for comparison with other destinations. Thus, the data has a fairly high margin of interpretation and a basis for strategic reflection for destination managers.
