The results of the Urban Commercial Activity Observatory project are presented, which aims to provide data related to the projection and revitalization of local commerce in Formentera, allowing for a clear picture of the situation in the different centers of Formentera. The study was financed with European funds provided to the Island Council of Formentera and is a project in which the Data Observatory and the Trade and Markets department have actively participated. The fieldwork (inventory and indicators) was carried out by José Manuel Soriano Guasch during 2024. During 2025, the professional team from the Data Observatory and the Trade and Markets department of the Island Council of Formentera worked on, refined, and adapted the inventory databases, the study and analysis, the conclusions, and the visualization results.
